Reporting to the Cabinet Office & HM Treasury (COHMT) Commercial Director, the primary purpose of the Deputy Commercial Director (DcD) is to ensure good commercial practice across the Business Units within the cluster, from initial procurement through to in-life contract management. The DCD will operate at a strategic level, engaging senior business unit staff members to set commercial strategy.

This is a hands-on role, and you will also be expected to maintain a strong understanding of all commercial activity taking place within the cluster and be able to advise and provide guidance to other members of the Commercial team where necessary, as well as taking responsibility for signing off commercial activity within the scope of your delegation.
