Commercial Lead – Science Innovation and Growth 3 roles available
To support the commercial aspects of these important and exciting business areas and programmes, we are keen to engage with candidates from a range of commercial backgrounds, from the private, public or voluntary sectors.
Full commercial lifecycle experience will be essential in these positions, with a focus on management of large and complex contracts. Successful applicants will need to offer expert commercial advice to both commercial and non-commercial staff primarily on contract management but also on new requirements to support the ongoing delivery of the relevant strand of the programme. Knowledge of public procurement regulations and government commercial policy is desirable, whilst experience of different contracting methods (framework, bespoke, model-form etc) is also required for all candidates.
Line-management duties will be required for the roles on offer as the team expands, and candidates will need to demonstrate their leadership experience and capabilities through the interview process.
